Our new line of Wood and Acrylic Engraved Snowglobe Pet Ornament Digital Files have been designed with great attention to detail so each ornament is easy to laser, cut and assemble.

Each ornament is layered with wood and acrylic, creating a captivating 3D effect that allows the lights of the tree to shine through like a true snowglobe. These are designed so that the centre acrylic layer is completely encased in a wooden frame layer so that the sides look like solid wood.

What makes these ornaments top sellers is the personalization aspect. We understand that every pet holds a special place in their owner's heart, so we've made it easy to add that personal touch. We designed the nameplate as another layer that can be added when you receive an order allowing you to create the base ornament ahead of time so that you can prep early for the busy season.

Assembly:

We spray paint our nameplates with silver spray paint which looks lovely and then we add small screws to each side which gives the finished ornament a more high end look allowing you to charge a bit more! (We include the listing for the screws we use which we order from Amazon - see below)

As some of you may not be as familiar with lasering acrylic, here are the Glowforge settings we use to have a perfect engrave with minimal residue and post-lasering cleaning.

In the Glowforge UI choose Thick Basswood Plywood from their Materials List and Engrave using their SD Graphic settings. (Speed 535, Precision Power 70, Lines Per Inch 270, Number of Passes 1). I’ve played around with a tonne of settings and this one works fantastic on 1/8” cast acrylic!

I leave the paper on the back side of my acrylic when lasering so that all you have to do is peel off the paper and the back requires no cleaning. For the front, these settings will leave minimal residue, all I do is give the front a quick wipe with a damp Mr. Clean Eraser, rinse off and dry with a cloth and they are ready to go.
