Herringbone 3D easy to make Home Decor, Family Sign 2 sizes, frames & layered text

Description:

This purchase includes the files for making these gorgeous 18x10.5" (46 x 27 cm) and 23.5"x15.5" (60 x 40 cm) "herringbone" signs with frames and layered text. The size is even suitable for the interchangeable corner pieces, that can be bought seperate.

The "Home is where the heart is" text is included in the files, but you are more than welcome to make your own.

Both sizes also includes full frames and split frames to layer on top.

These can be made with plywood, MDF, acrylic, hardwood and whatever material you like. The pictured signs are made from 4mm plywood, but you can use whatever thickness of material you want.

After cutting the herringbone pattern, make sure to tape the pattern to the "stencil" before lifting it. Stain/paint the back prior to or after gluing the pattern on top.

After you remove the heeringbone pattern, turn it over, to ensure that your pattern are fully cut through and the apply glue to the "planks" without getting glue on your "stencil" Use the outer ring to align the pattern to the the back, lift and carefully lift up the "stencil". Glue down the outer ring and optionally stain the front before gluing one of the frames on top.

You can resize the signs, just be aware to select all parts before resizing.

You can make this on any laser and any thickness of material you like, but if you want to include the interchangeable corner pieces, you do want to cut the bottom corner piece in the same thickness your frame is cut.
